It’s Philadelphia Food Week on Sissy Biscuit! As you guys may know, I live in the Philadelphia area. You also may know that I am obsessed with food. Of all of the places that I’ve been to in the city, this week I’ve decided to highlight my top five. It may suck if you’re far away from us—but it’s a good reason to come visit!
Up first is my absolute number one—Zahav. I would eat there once a week if Ralph let me. Chef Solomonov is the owner and his creations will make you weep (Ralph still won’t admit that he shed a tear over the halavah dessert, but I swear I saw it). Zahav’s alcoholic lemonade, hummus, and haloumi cheese are my go to when I’ve had a hard week and I need to escape to a soft lit world full of warm, squishy bread and super nice people. High-res
